My uncle was there that day, working as a teacher in Chinatown. My cousins, barely teenagers at the time, went to ground zero only a few weeks after it happened. None of them like to talk about it, understandably.

I was on the A train between 42nd Street and 34th. We were stalled in the middle of the tunnel for about 45 minutes and all we were told is: "There is a police action currently happening at Chambers Street". The subways were cleared out and I had never seen so many people on the street before.

it was chaos when it happened and a lot of people died in this world and it was really sad and terrible that happened. I was in San Diego on 9/11 and I can't believe it's almost 24 years and that's crazy
