I made my friend come with me to the hospital for an appointment so I didn’t have a panic attack, she had a panic attack 😂

my son and his best friend had this. my son has Immunodeficiency myalgic encephalomyelitis and mitochondrial failure. His best friend had schimke immuno osseous displaysia. for 18 years they understood eachothers fatigue, pain and the importance of protection from all infection etc. Sadly 26th Febuary 2024 we lost his best friend and my son from another mum. The void is infinite, the pain immeasurable and my son lost his person who understood him in ways noone else could. But we have the memories, from childhood to young adults of 23. We treasure those, but miss him endlessly. It's a beautiful friendship for those suffering chronic illness to share. x

I need a chronically ill bestie. I have chronic pain and have been told it will be for life (after multiple unsuccessful surgeries and my nerves removed) and nobody quite understands how hard it is

My mum has Parkinson’s, her bestie has chronic pain/fibromyalgia/crps. When they are both incoherent their texts to eachother are indecipherable to everyone else, and yet when they both become a bit more coherent again they know exactly what was said and can decipher their texts. They speak their own language together 😂

I’m not diagnosed with any chronic illnesses, but I deal with pain everyday. Never know which bodypart that’s gonna be hurting when I wake up, it’s always a ✨surprise✨. I do have adhd and am autistic tho!
