@eloisegracey: I get so many dms about this every single day. So many comments so I just wanted to speak about it. #ivf #ivfbaby #flathead #newborn #momtok #3monthold
People are constantly out to judge new mums it’s awful! It doesn’t look flat to me but sometimes I think my baby’s does at certain angles but I think it’s just that, the angle! The only person it matters to if your baby had a flat head is yourselves and healthcare professionals, I’m sure his doctors/HV would have noticed it before now♥️

Even if your baby did have flat head, they will just tell you to try not keep him flat on his back as much! He’s a baby they grow into their head! Honestly you’re smashing being a mama! Never doubt yourself you’re doing amazing xxx

my babys head is misshaped due to a side preference from suspected torticollis! we are seeing a physio and it should fix itself over time as he strengthens his muscles and lifts his head for longer periods of time. i’ve never noticed anything with freddies head but misshaped heads are more common that people realise! they aren’t mobile yet so even small pressure can cause issues over time x

Girl ignore them! He’s your baby and you know him best. You are always going to get judged no matter what you do, someone will always have something to say. Since becoming a mum myself I’m trying to learn to ignore everyone else’s negative comments! I can see you’re an amazing mummy and that gorgeous baby boy is so lucky to have you💙💙

Girly don’t put yourself down, being an anytime or stage mum means we’re learning everyday! everyone will always have something to say and most of the judgement is coming from those who don’t even have children! you are smashing it and you should be giving yourself so much credit. I’ve been watching since you started posting your IVF journey and it’s amazing to see how strong you have been the whole time. Don’t ever doubt yourself, you’re amazing ❤️

My baby has flat head- osteopath, Drs and a consultant said “it’s nothing to worry about, their skulls take years to form, before you know it they’ll have the perfect shaped head and the flat spot won’t be there anymore” xx

My baby had/has a flat had.. he just wouldn’t do tummy time, I kept trying and trying, but with bad reflux, he just screamed and screamed and puked… now he’s 4.5 months he’s learnt to roll on his tummy constantly and nearly sitting up. And I can see already there’s a difference.. every baby is different xx

Definitely don't put yourself down. Someone will ALWAYS have something to say. And like someone said, every baby has flathead. I delivered by forceps too. They grow out of it, they just give you some small exercises, it isn't a worry. You keep doing you and doing it your OWN way 🥰✨

My baby is 10 months now and still has a slight flat head on one side and I used to cry daily about it thinking everyone was noticing it. It’s so so common and sometimes no amount of holding or tummy time can fix it- my baby loved sleeping on one angle on his back, but now he’s bigger he sleeps on his side or front and it’s slowly getting better. Ignore the trolls, you’re doing amazing mama❤️

I imagine it’s a lot but I think a lot of people are just trying to help and not necessarily judge you. Don’t get me wrong there will always be a “hater” out there who will be nasty without trying to help but most people are just trying to help. If it’s just the angle you’ll be able to show that he’s not got a flat head but it does look like it to me. I wouldn’t say it’s anything to go the drs it’s generally caused by baby being flat on their back too much. It can also be why some babies get a bald spot on the back of their head too.

My little girl had a flat head as a newborn but it’s been slowly rounding out. She’s 10 months and her head is a lot rounder and I didn’t have to do anything about it. You’re not doing anything wrong and it’s not necessarily an issue and normally round out as they grow

Just ignore them, you and marli are amazing parents and that gorgeous boy is thriving. You are his mum and honestly you know best. Sometimes there are things we can’t see as parents that others can but don’t stress about it, I’m sure Freddie is perfectly fine but you’ve done the right thing getting an appointment to rule it out completely. Keep doing the amazing job you are mumma 💙🎉

You know your baby, your comment section doesn’t! My 6 week old was just diagnosed with torticollis and his head is quite flat already, it was very obvious something wasn’t quite right from early on, you’d have noticed if there was anything wrong because you know him best. It’s a shame everyone wants to pick faults with you, you’re doing amazing and you shouldn’t be made to question yourself!!

Lizzie - Pregnant Boy Mum🌈 :
Ignore them. His head might be slightly flatter at the back while he builds his neck and arm muscles to pull himself up on his front. It’s a result of safe sleeping (putting baby to sleep on their back!) and they do a lot of that in the early days🥲 Keep doing recommended tummy time sessions and monitor it but honestly I had the same worries. Baby is now 9 months old and is perfect! You’re doing amazing!❤️
