I had a patella tendon rupture and quad tendon rupture at the same in 2017 time following a fall down stairs. Had bilateral surgery and went through all of this. Had to have second patella tendon surgery. 1st one was done correctly. Very traumatic. Now I have arthritis in both legs.

I had a patella dislocation 2 times and I had surgery and had to keep it on locked for over a month and recovery was over a year

@Dr. Matthew Harb my quadriceps tendon on my right knee is reconstructed and a tendon transplant and I will do the same on my left knee in a couple of weeks. 2019 I got a total quadriceps tendon rupture on my RIGHT knee, 6 months later I got a partial rupture on my LEFT knee 😭 The right rupture was so bad that the doctor said it will probably rupture again. 2023 I got my surgery where they reconstructed the quadriceps tendon on my right knee which saved my ability to walk. This summer I fell badly and ruptured my LEFT again, so they will do the same reconstruction there too. The pain is BAD and the quadriceps tendon ruptures are worse I think because you CAN'T lift your leg or even walk 🥺 It's really unusual that a female (then) under 30 to even get these ruptures, I don't do sports or anything. It's probably my rheumatoid arthritis that weakens my joints and tendons 💔

I didn't have a rupture but I smashed my knee on the ground while my knee was out of place (eds) and I was in a knee immobilizer and crutches worst 4 weeks of my life

I had a bilateral patellar dislocation upwards, a snapped patellar tendon and a shattered tibia. apparently the odds of something like that happening are 7.5 sextillion

Just happened to me last march im still healing it’s been the roughest journey of my life. It’s way more of a mental journey. That’s Dan in the video! I talked to him before and after surgery because he is a big boy like myself. Definitely helped me mentally so very grateful for him care to me. Honestly the first 3 months are the worst. The first week is thee absolute worst!!! Making it to the bathroom was my biggest goal because bed pans and pee jars hurt my pride the most. So making small goals like making it to the bathroom by yourself or making it the kitchen. Something that keeps pushing yourself everyday do as much physical therapy yourself…. It’s beyond rough you will crash out but it’s okay every little win is win so remember that
