So I’m a manager. I run about 4 accounts. I don’t control the pay. I told my staff they all need to call in the same day. They did that for 3 days and call corporate told them they won’t come back without a raise. Corporate found the money in 2 days. I’m staffed all the time now😂

Most major corporations, chains etc raise the expectations for workers, production and profits every year but will do it while expecting workers to work with minimal staff, support, incentive or direction and a high turnover rate and pretend they don’t know why the business although profitable isn’t functioning in a sustainable way. They will also pretend they want solutions but only want the maximum in return for the minimum

Now they have it where you have to find a replacement if you call off so I’m sick and now I have to find another staff member instead of resting or going to the dr office scared I’ll lose my job because management won’t do their job
