This made me bawl. The best experience I ever had was being an au pair. They were 4 and 6 at the time and now 12 and 14. They whole family just traveled half way across the world for the wedding and the girls walked down the isle as my something blue

My parents did this to me and my sister when my half-brother came to visit from Puerto Rico. He lives with his mom so we never got to see him. We were so excited and cried when we saw him coming. 😭💚

I had an au pair and she lived with me for about a year and then she had to go back to Columbia and we visited her back a couple years ago but when we first saw each other at the airport we were both SOBBING cuz it had been 5 years since we saw each other. we consider each other sisters❤️

One of the greatest experiences of my life was extending a business trip in Sweden to see my childhood au pair ~20ish years later! I got to see her hometown, sleep in her house, and meet her kids. She was one of the first people I contacted when my dad died. Such an important and special person in my life! This is making me weepy!
