It’s his daughter and his visit. The wife didn’t care about seeing her stepdaughter. if this visit was important to the wife, she would’ve never have gone to Starbucks. I think she was pulling a power trip and assumed he would wait for her making him late to visit his child..

I would’ve left her too. Why would you not go to the coffee shop next to the gate? Everybody knows Starbucks lines are always long and you only had 15 minutes to board.
