I do think she should resign but I’m torn on automatic expulsion for being convicted of a felony. It depends on the felony. Currently, people engaged in nonviolent protests at ICE detention centers are being arrested on felony trespass charges. There’s potential for automatic expulsion for a felony to be used as a political weapon and to curtail elected officials ability to resist injustices

she was probably trying to take things of minimal value...whereas a certain president doctored records to defraud lenders out to millions.... but sure...her crime was way worse to the GOP(cult)... she should resign and the president should have not been eligible for holding office again.

I live in Woodbury and I’m pretty sure it will stay blue. Our city tends to always say yes to School bonds and taking care of each other so I don’t get the vibe that will change.

mmm i think felons should be allowed to serve. not necessarily her. but i don’t think the exclusion of felons from govt is completely appropriate given the racist exist nature of it society.

Anyone currently dealing with the consequences of a crime should immediately remove themselves from any elected office. When she has completed her sentence, she can make her case in front of her constituents to see if they forgive her and want her back representing them.
