Men and women ARE wired differently biologically. Seems obvious to me that we would be. It is however near impossible to say exactly in what ways and who'd be "naturally" better at certain things.

Feeling anger for those who held hate towards you isn't wrong. but the maxim I live by is "Don't punish behavior you want to see." If a former bigot actually changes their mind and behavior, I will applaud them because that's what I want to see in this world.

I grew up in a really regressive area, and one of the most damaging therapists I'd ever had was one who didn't know the distinction between the two, and neither did I. So therapy turned into her looking at my 'guilt' when I really meant 'shame', and justifying that processes outside of my control were in fact my fault.

my experience with shameful people is not necessarily that they isolate or stop trying. it's rather tragically that they do all sorts of twisted things to feel or be perceived as superior and always end up bringing more shame onto themselves through their actions

I keep giving men chances to be better and they keep becoming statistics. even ones I give months or years to, the mask falls eventually. id love to love and respect men...but. even just this week a long time male friend thought it was okay to grope my breasts the very first time he saw me and thought I was unconscious.
