carpet wouldn’t be in the kitchen. In a bedroom where people don’t eat because it gets cold and it makes it more cozy

I agree with this idea. but I did get a rug a 6x8 ruggable, it's like a Turkish carpet that can go in the washer. it's nice to step on it in the morning when you get up. I will never do full carpet in my house , ck.

It’s because long ago there wasn’t all these cheap hardwood floor options. So carpet was a lot cheaper but now they have these vinyl floors that look like wood that are similar price to carpet.

there's carpet cleaner machines if it gets really dirty, but other than in bedrooms and maybe the living room I'd agree with you. kitchens, hallways, and common areas should always be hard floor because of how often they're walked on.

In the colder states it’s warmer in the winter. But 💯 agree, hard floors is way more sanitary and easier to keep clean.

They’re very comfortable in bedrooms as they’re warmer than hardwood floors. I think rugs (not attached) are much more convenient as they’re easily replaced

No carpet. I used to like it for bedrooms, but it makes me sick. It grows mold as it degrades and holds onto toxins. It’s the most unsanitary floor covering. We removed all carpet from our house and I’ve been healthier.
