One of my first school field trips in kindergarten was to the local jail where we got fingerprinted and “locked” in a cell to try and make sure we all stayed good boys and girls. 💀

I have a story, if you do post it, keep it anonymous. So I'm a student going into 7th grade and this happened towards the end of my 6th grade year. I was at my 2nd period pe class and we were all sitting down as my teacher was explaining soft ball. My teacher is on the older side and a man. I wasn't really paying attention and was talking to my friends the whole time. Then he blew his whistle to make sure everyone was paying attention, so I did. Then he said, "After I blow the whistle for you to stop i don't want anyone throwing the ball because it could hit people in the face. I wouldn't want that to happen because we have some VERY beautiful girls in this class" and proceeded to wink and me and my friends. After class he asked to meet us in his office. I told them to run so we did. We told the principle and now he's fired.

I have a story, it’s not scary but in September last year something happened in my school in Bethel Regional High School. I was in Science class in D wing, (reminder there 5 wings, A, B, C, D, and L) A, B, C, and D are downstairs, L is upstairs, but anyways there was a fire alarm and we and had go out, in the d wing we only hand to go out the door that is close to the classroom door, everyone evacuated, we stayed outside for 10 minutes and the fire alarm stayed on, then ambulance, police cars, and Fire trucks, we had to go to to middle next door a Yupik school (Yupik is our native language, it’s pronounced you-pick) and we got announced that we had a fire in the A wing which is the gym and cafeteria, a fire in the girls bathroom, someone had lit something in the girls bedroom by the gym and left, let’s call the girls name Sarah, my principal, vice principal, high school gym teacher all came to the school we stayed in and said that a fire was in the girls bathroom. We were told that the maintenance guy let’s call him Henderson, put out the fire and went to the hospital and Medevac took him to the nearest city which was Anchorage and was treated because he inhaled smoke. But the principal said the Sarah was the last girl to be in and they took her to juvi. It was definitely scary to the community because in 1997 a school shooting happened and two people got killed. The school was formed around 1948 so it stayed there for a long time.

Ok this had to be the principals fault and teachers cause why would a school that is supposed to PROTECT and TAKE CARE of other peoples children and they decide it’s ok to have a FIELD TRIP to a prison and think it’s ok! Bro the kids could have seriously gotten hurt!
