Flamin’ Hot Elote DIP 🧀🌽🔥 Spicy, cheesy, and showed up with attitude-4 serranos deep and crusted in Hot Cheetos. This dip was a whole moment… but here’s the real: 📝 This recipe was revised with things I’d do differently next time: 🔸️I didn’t char the corn (rookie move) 🔸️Filling wasn’t gooey enough-but still smacked 🔸️I broiled the top too long (cheese armor unlocked) 🔸️I create off vibes, not a test kitchen 🔸️I’m broke, not Bon Appétit… yet 😤 💡 Want it melty? Add extra shredded cheese into the filling and skip the broil. Still spicy. Still crunchy. Still MINE. Full recipe below ⬇️ 🧀 Ingredients: 5 cups charred corn ( I only boiled mine ) 1 cup mayo - filling ½ cup sour cream - filling Juice of 1 lemon - filling 4 serranos, deseeded + chopped - filling ¼ cup red onion ( 1 small white onion) - filling ½ tsp garlic powder - filling ½ tsp cumin - filling ½ tsp Tajín ( chili powder) - filling 1 Roma tomato, diced - filling ½ cup cotija cheese - filling 1 avocado, diced - garnish or filling 1 cup Tillamook Ched Mix - topping ½ cup cheddar cheese - topping 1 cup Flamin’ Hot Cheetos powder - garnish Cilantro + queso fresco - garnish Tortilla chips to serve ➡️( means - what I used ) 🍴 Instructions: 1. Char corn and mix with mayo, sour cream, lemon, spices, onion, serranos, tomatoes, cotija. ➕ Add extra shredded cheese inside for gooey vibes. 2. Spread into a baking dish and top with cheddar mix or your favorite. I ran out and farted some more into the dish🤣... just wanted to see who my real friends are... 3. Bake at 375 for 15-20 min. Optional: Skip broil for a softer top. 4. Fold in diced tomato and avocado after baking. 5. Top with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos powder, cilantro, and queso fresco. Serve hot with chips.
