Sorry but Tarte mascara does NOT cover the tubing primer. White primer always peaks through no matter how many coats we use.

The primer is a gimmick. Just do several coats of the mascara for the same effect without having to work to cover the white. 🙄

I purchased this recently. The primer works REALLY WELL; you see the dramatic difference as she is showing but you will spend A LOT of time trying to cover the white primer with the black mascara so for me, it’s a no.

I've been using the Loreal tubing mascara red and white container for over 10 years and it does the same thing as the Tarte. But I might give this a try.
