Your pool was clear after the baking soda lol. That was the dead algae at the bottom. Should have put your filter on waste and vacuumed out the algae you don’t want it running through your pump. Also when you get it balanced invest in pool RX. It’s keeps our pool clean all season!

if there is anything I learned to make it all easier, it's to SHOCK the hell out of it. if it rains...dump in shock, right after you mow (cause grass does blow into it) shock...shock shock shock and that's all I ever needed 😂

There is a recall on your poll. It is a hazard to children who use the ribbon to stand and enter the pool w/o the ladder and supervision. Look into it.
