I get it. I do. But knowing those underlying facts also makes the difference between someone who just knows what to order and someone who knows why. I just don’t think we should normalize the notion that somehow knowing these basic biochemical facts are not necessary for clinical practice.

yes you need to know kcrebs cycle to be doctor example if the patient oxygen is low pyruvate will not convert into citrate this leads lactic acidosis 💀

I think, I only remember that part where pyruvate from glycolysis enters the mitochondria and is then converted to acetyl-CoA. But still doubt if it's this way 😂😂💔
