@ashleynicolelife: 🗓️ Compression after a tummy tuck is key but how long do you wear it for? When is the right time to stop? Hope this video helps! Sorry I’ve been MIA what other content would you like to see from me now that I’m back? #tummytuck #faja #plasticsurgery #mommymakeover #postoprecovery #extendedtummytuck #postoptips

I am now 7 weeks post and my surgeon said I can stop wearing it! I can’t let it go I feel like the swelling gets out of control if I don’t.. I would like to stop wearing it at night cause I feel like the swelling is not as bad at night plus tonight easier to get up to go to the bathroom and not have to wrestle with it and middle of the night. I still am going to wear it during the day though not sure when I’m gonna let it go.

I'm 15 wk po ETT & I stopped wearing my faja after 7/8 wks. I'll put it on occasionally if I veer off my anti-inflammatory diet or I feel fluffy. Sometimes I wear spanx bodysuit just to feel some compression. I just started wearing a waist trainer when I train at the gym for extra support

I hear ya girl. I am currently in the tapering off stage. I feel so naked without it. Definitely a security blanket!

I ditched mine at six weeks per my doctors instructions. On days when I felt really uncomfortable I would put it on for a few hours. I think the best transition for me were the spanks underwear . at four months postop, I’ll still wear those occasionally when I’m feeling a little more swollen

Do you still swell at all now that you aren't wearing it. I'm 13 weeks po and 2 days ago I quit cold turkey.

My doctor said to wear it for 6 months. I take it off every now and then for a day or 2 and then put it back on. I am currently 15 weeks post op. I’m afraid my skin will start sagging or something if I don’t follow what the doctor said. I feel like I sound crazy
