Hilariously we were in the orange tentbox (roof tent) you can see in the background. I heard you screaming at about 5:30am while I was scrambling with our second tent (which did not survive).

Having abandoned ship in the midst of an un forecasted hurricane 15 years ago, as my kids cried “are we being blown to cansas because I don’t want to die in here” at 5am on a Saturday morning, I totally feel your pain in this moment! I opted out, wanted the Jet2 holiday experience…quickly decided I’m better off in a tent 😂 We have continued to laugh about it, continued to camp and love the great outdoors. Top tip…car camping!
