Todos los que comentan que no lo usarían nunca porque destruyó parte de la jungla. Los respeto un montón ❤️me imagino que tampoco contribuyen y vacacionan en hoteles playeros, o viajan a Cancun, o viven en casas restauradas en vez de los complejos nuevos que se hacen ahora! Everyone in these comments are ridiculous. Mexico has a tier payment system. Foreigners pay the highest ticket cost and there are more affordable prices for Mexican nationals and even a cheaper option for Mexican locals in the Yucatan. It’s a really ingenious. Also, As a regular Amtrak traveler the Amtrak prices can be expensive and the trains are becoming so old and outdates. A roundtrip from DC to NYC can be 200+ I was impressed w/ Tren Maya last year and Mexico is proving itself by building a train far better than what the USA has done in the last decade

Nobody uses it, it is a monument to the corruption in the actual goverment in México, it destroyed big part of the mayan jungle and its made with cheap material so its dangerous 😢
