@rachelinthegarden: Replying to @Emma Walsh | Life after PND Thinking about adding fruit to your garden? Start with blueberries! 💙🫐 They’re low maintenance, perfect for pots or beds and give you fresh fruit year after year!! Here’s some growing tips: 🌱 They’re perennial - they’ll come back every summer, producing more and more berries as they mature. 👯♀️ Plant at least two - they need a friend for best pollination and bigger harvests. ☀️ The love the sun - give them a sunny spot with acidic, well-draining soil (ericaceous compost if you’re planting in pots). 💦 Keep them moist but not waterlogged - especially when fruit is forming (water= juicy berries). #BlueberryBush #GrowYourOwnFruit #GardeningTips #GardenTok #EdibleGarden #FruitGarden #BackyardGardening #ContainerGardening #OrganicGardening #UKGardening #GardenWithMe
Leave them in the pots, much easier to control the soil. Professional blueberry farmers also keep them in pots. Also, blueberries don't need much soil, but you can upgrade to a bit bigger if you want to

We first had our blueberries in a tiny garden. Originally we had 3 plants but 1 died. The two left have been going strong for over 10 years.
We feed ours with vinegar in water once a month as its much cheaper. We keep thinking our plants will stop producing as many as the years are going by but we keep having an abundance.
Also keep them in the pots. We just buried the whole thing in thing ground. It's easier to control the soil acidity.

Those are doing great - they might well be doing better because they are in pots. My in-ground blueberries struggle no matter what I feed them

Did you plant these from seed. If so when would recommend to plant the seed. Keeping it indoors if needed to. 🥰
