my 24 weeker, took his breathing tube out 8 times in his first week of life. Was in the nicu for 5 months, total 16 times intubated. 💀 fun times for the nurses and doctors

My daughter pulled out 4 different ivs, took her oxygen off multiple times, and would pull her feeding tube out every few hours 😂 the nurse was like “she’s only a week old and she’s got big attitude” lol

Having just spent 2 weeks on NICU as a student I can only laugh at the accuracy! I was on tube removal prevention one day for 8 babies. I did my best but they’re so incredibly fast and sneaky!!! 🥴🤣
