@hikingwithhykes: 🚫Don’t visit Yellowstone before watching this video 👋🏼If you’re new to our page, WELCOME!!!🤩 We are Trevor and Riley, a travel couple from Ohio that loves sharing adventure travel inspiration, the best hikes, weekend getaways, and finding the best food everywhere we go! 😳Yellowstone National Park is MASSIVE. It is more than half the size of Northeast Ohio, the area we are from, and it is located in three states: Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. 🖐🏼The park has 5 main boundaries that all boast different features: 🦣Mammoth Hot Springs in the North has lots of animal sightings and easy boardwalks. 🌋Norris is great for geysers and hydrothermal features like the Emerald Pool 🌊Canyon Village is home to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone (our favorite spot) 🗻Old Faithful is the most famous stop with big geysers and even bigger crowds 🍦Yellowstone Lake and Grant Village is a great place to unwind and see wildlife ❤️Save this reel for your Yellowstone National Park adventure! ✈️Follow @hikingwithhykes for our newest series on Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton National Parks! •

Bonus tip: do it in the winter & they take you through on snowmobiles. No crowds. No slowing down. You get to see it all in peace & quiet, unobstructed, not rushed. Just you and the other 15 people on the tour are all that are around.

Yes, it’s a very amazing place, lots of wildlife, amazing sites. One of my most favorite places to go is on Jenny Lake on a boat.. you gonna see a lot of wildlife along the lake. Looks like you had amazing time.

This park is a baby compared to Alaska parks. 2 million screws at Yellowstone verses 12 million for those in Alaska. Crazy landscapes.

You completely forgot Rosevelt lmao, which is the best part of the park if you’ve never been. Roosevelt opens to Lamar valley, tower falls, has horseback riding, cowboy cookouts, amazing trails and a public bar! How could yall leave it out it’s a main village 😭

If you’re not use to the elevation the hike by Grand Canyon of Yellowstone is BRUTAL. Going down was easy. I thought I was going to die hiking back up.

yes I wish I knew exactly how big it was when I went, I would have stayed in a lodge somewhere else since I was only interested in the canyons and geysers. it took me hours to get into the park and get to those 2 spots then hours to get to my cabin.
