This particular vehicle you mentioned Toyota Camry 2012/13/14. it doesn't short oil depending on the type of oil u use.

1- This particular camy does not short oil, 2007-2010 are the ones shorting oil. 2- If you are experiencing shortage of oil, this can be as a result of normal wear and tear, worn piston rings, or issues with valve seals or the PCV valve. Or check if your thermostat is working properly, cause it aid in regulating engine temperature 3- Removing your car thermostat is one of the most annoying advice I do get from roadside mechanics with poor automobile experience, just guess work. If you remove your thermostat, you might experience over cooling, High fuel consumption & poor engine performance.

It doesn’t short oil oo.. my oil no dey comot where e dey and I go comot am put another oil.. just a little brownie change in color.. except this steering sound if enter pot holes

Mine does short oil and it’s toks but I believed it’s the excess heat but I just can’t switch the cooling fan to manually because of the noise 😏

my own has never short oil 3 yrs now. I used recommended oil ow20. never overheat with follow come Radiator and thermostat with no issues at all. serviced every 6 months

Removing thermostat doesn’t work really, my thermostat was absent and the oil shortage was high and my fuel consumption was very high, but it regulated after I put the thermostat back, tho the oil still shorts but not like when thermostat was absent and fan was direct.

This what I do for my 08 Camry and I’m enjoying it though the oil shortage still continue I do service every two month but I have know it is common problem for Camry 08 but I’m suprise about this 014 spider ooo
