i just had it earlier now i’m feeling slowly okay. i just hate that whenever i think of something bad or negative during my panic attack or when i’m calming myself it gets back, that feeling of tightness in your chest and heaviness that leads to gasping for air. that’s why when i’m having a panic attack or anxiety i tell myself that “if you can’t breathe, then why are still breathing.” maybe harsh but this phrase helps me a-lot, and also think of something positive or moments that can make you happy instead of something that can worry you. i love u for those who experiences this hope it gets easier. 💕

My nerves are like burning or tingling every night. After my first panic attack I was back to normal but after 1 month it happened again and starting from that day my nerves are tingling whenever I want to sleep. And whenever I eat something I can’t focus. And then one night I got another one after 3 weeks of the second one. This time while sleeping. And today after 1 week I’m still in the loop

The problem is it comes out of nowhere and then I panic more. My husband tries calming me but nothing works at that time.

Sitting through them and just feeling the sensations and not trying to stop the panic attack is the fastest way to resolve them long term. I promise you will not have them hardly anymore if

Do you ever go one step further and then tell yourself, “what if this is actually an emergency but you’re in denial?”

Unfortunately, panic attacks are all about unrational thoughts so attempting to resolve with rational cures typically doesn’t work for me.

I have these multiple times a day. I wake up throughout the night with them. It has really taken a toll on my quality of life. My mother is my safe place. I call her day and night. And she always gets me through it. I need to find a way to not be her burden anymore.

Biggest problem I have is telling if I’m having heat stroke or a panic attack. The not knowing causes even more panic. Even though every single time except once it’s been a panic attack. But that one time it wasn’t makes it feel like that’s how it is every time. It’s hard to explain

54321 method. 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste. this method has helped me a lot. also, the color method. pick a color at random, the first to pop into your head and look for that color in the room you're in. count them, memorize them. and last, sugar! grab something sweet to drink if you can, apple juice, orange juice (it helps if it's cold) and sip slowly. dont take you mouth off of the straw/cup and just continuously sip whatever it is you're drinking. ive gotten through quite a few panic/anxiety attacks while working restaurants by this method. just my input!
