@tracypekurny: Let’s clear this up once and for all… 🚨 People love to say: 🛑 “You can’t diagnose.” 🛑 “You can’t prescribe.” 🛑 “You can’t treat.” 🛑 “You’re so limited as a concierge nurse.” What they aren’t saying? There are literally thousands of things you CAN do as a Registered Nurse operating within your scope. And honestly? That’s the best news ever. Why? Because you’re working with walkie-talkie clients—people who want your services, your support, your advocacy. You’re not buried in codes, call lights, or EMRs. You actually get to build relationships. You get to spend time with people. And it’s valued and appreciated! More good news: ✅ You set your own schedule ✅ You set your own income goals ✅ You design your services around the life you want ✅ You build something of your own—your name, your brand, your business ✅ You scale it if you want to ✅ You build structure outside the hospital walls You don’t need to stay trapped in a system that brainwashed you into thinking your only worth is next to a doctor (no shade on them at all) or the 4 walls of the hospital 🏥 That’s the biggest lie nurses have been told. Worse? Too many nurses are repeating the same script… without ever even reading their own state’s nursing practice act. Let’s get real: 🩺 You have a professional license issued by the state. 🩺 You passed boards. 🩺 You invested in your education. 🩺 You’re not just some weekend-certified, 3-hour-course, printed-and-framed certificate-holder. 🩺 You are a licensed professional. And you should know exactly what you’re legally capable of. 🧐 And then build a business that serves the community AND creates the life you actually want. Imagine this: → You structure your week around your energy. → You take weekends away. → You offer care, education, consulting, advocacy, support, strategy, wellness—all without working a shift. → You scale when you want. → You work virtually if you choose. → You even create an agency and remove yourself from the front lines entirely. Yes, it takes real work. No, it’s not some magic passive income shortcut. But if you build it right—ethically, legally, and powerfully—it can change everything. I want to be clear, early on that entrepreneurship is not for everyone. I actually recommend you take a personality test and really think clearly if you can work the grind even solo for a long period of time. It’s not an easy button or an easy road but it can be well worth it on the other side. I’ll be sharing the real truth here— ✅ What you can do ✅ How to do it legally ✅ How to protect yourself ✅ How to grow Let’s stop letting fear-mongering and old hospital mindsets control the conversation. 🗣 Nurses belong in the community again. And the good news is we don’t need permission. Follow along. Like. Share this with a nurse who needs to hear it. We’re just getting started. I’m building a RN concierge business in a box coming up soon! And yes that’s me behind the camera. That’s the Arkansas river in Canyon City Colorado on the beautiful scenic train ride at the Royal Gotge. 📹 #conciergenurse #tiktoknurses #businesstipsforyou #businesstipsforyou #fyp #NurseBusinessCoach #NurseBusinessCoach #privatepracticenurse #privatedutynurse #nursesfollowingnurses

I’ve often said that nursing schools are just farms for hospitals. I was never told there were tons of other organizations to work for. My dream would be to work for the National Park Service as an RN. 😊

This sounds amazing but I live in a very very rural area where jobs are extremely limited to hospital, nursing homes, home health, or university. As an ICU nurse, none of those specialties inspire me. I would love to travel and do medical equipment education/training, but again, being 3-6 hrs from a city, these options are just not feasible. Concierge nursing? Would LOVE! Again, I’m so rural. Not even an option. 😢😢😫😫
