Self-harm. Depression. Anxiety. These aren’t just buzzwords or trends. These are real, painful realities for so many. And the truth is… people don’t act out for no reason. There’s always something deeper going on. Please check in on your friends. Not just with a quick “u good?” — but really check in. Ask twice. Listen without trying to fix. Sometimes your presence, your attention, your time… can literally save someone’s life. Don’t wait for a specific month to care. Be the reason someone feels seen. Be the reason someone holds on. Let’s normalize talking about mental health every day — not just when the world decides to shine a light on it. You never know the battles someone is fighting. Be kind. Be patient. Be there.
