If you raise and sell cattle for a profit you are a rancher…period. Also having less cattle doesn’t make you less of a rancher. Don’t buy more than your land and wallet can handle. Comparison is not only the thief of joy but will clear out your bank account… Stay in the Green 💰 Happy Ranching 🤠

People that gate keep on what ranching is aren’t ranchers. By definition ranching is breeding or caring for farm animals. According to Webster dictionary. There’s no designated number on what qualifies as ranching.

Most ranchers don’t ask about how many acres of herd size. It’s kinda rude. They talk about the weather, feed/hay prices, and how last weeks sale went. The answers tell them all they need to know.
