We’ve discovered the trick that works for us is nurse/feed him halfway, burp him, swaddle him. Then we finish the feeding and once he’s milk-drunk, we can lay him down! But the key is swaddling him FIRST

Try laying them down but tilting them slightly sideways when putting them down instead of directly on their back so it doesn’t trigger them into thinking their falling etc.!

He’s fine with the bassinet during the day for naps. But at night, it’s a no go. He will only sleep in his car seat or in the bed with me. It’s so strange.

What helped me a lot when my daughter was a newborn was putting the shirt I wore all day in there and a heating pad. That way the bassinet smelled like me and was nice and warm
