Unpopular opinion: his charcater wasnt ruined in season 3 but rather his red flags in season 1 and 2 are made more obvious in season 3 1. He shot a firework at conrad and Belly 2. he told Nicole to ask out Conrad so that Conrad wouldn’t have time for belly 3. He went to a party and started flirting with girls after seeing Conrad and Belly playing volleyball together 4. He ignored the fact that Belly’s feelings for Conrad were still there, because he wanted her for himself. 5. in season 2 He still held resentment about Belly’s past choice of Conrad. 6. he blamed Conrad for his mom’s diagnosis yet Susannah specifically asked Conrad not to tell Jere and Belly about her illness cause she wanted to tell them herself when she is ready

Team jeremiah because at the end of season 2 he told belly and conrad to leave him out if they still had feelings for each other and now they’ve successfully broken his heart again.

As a team Jeremiah girly I always knew Belly was gonna end up with Conrad but to just ruin his character in order to do so is and always will be just bad writing. Jenny Han’s writing always gave middle school anyways 🤷♀️

No bc I get she changed Jeremiah in the show to look worse than in the books but giving us ONE flashback of them as kids when their whole thing was best friends to lovers like majority of flashbacks were belly and Jeremiah. We got so many of his good moments taken like you can make Conrad a nicer character without taking away from Jeremiah’s .
