Potato Burger Buns Ingredients 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour 1 cup (200 g) mashed potatoes (boiled and mashed without water) 2 tbsp (25 g) sugar 2 tbsp (30 g) butter, softened 1 tsp salt 2 tsp instant yeast ½ cup (120 ml) warm milk (more if needed) 1 egg (for egg wash) 2 tbsp sesame seeds (for topping) Instructions Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl and let it sit until foamy. In another bowl, combine flour, salt, mashed potatoes, and butter, then pour in the yeast mixture. Knead into a soft, slightly sticky dough for about 8–10 minutes. Cover and let it rise until doubled in size. Punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions (about 6–8 buns). Shape into smooth balls and place them on a lined baking tray. Cover and let them rise again until puffy. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 18–20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly on a rack before slicing.
