44 yrs old here… I’ve been in Invisalign for 17 months, I’m getting ceramic braces this Wednesday to finish off my treatment ( approx 4 more months in braces) because my incisors stopped moving. I was very diligent wearing the trays and didn’t mind them, just want to be done now. If I had to do it over again, I’d probably pick braces to be done sooner than Invisalign.

Braces babe. Invisalign is high maintenance and don’t they have to shave your teeth with Invisalign?

I did Invisalign first and wore my post alignment retainers nightly but my teeth still moved. I ended up getting ceramic braces about 10 years later and preferred it. Do the braces - It’s so much easier and faster.

I used to work for an orthodontist. Invisalign never works. Go to a real orthodontist and get the clear/ceramic braces. Don’t go to a dentist that does orthodontics. Go to a real orthodontist.

You need to get your pallet expanded properly by an integrative dentist and then you need to do braces so that you don’t have a retainer for the rest of your life. An integrative dentist will evaluate your airway as well.
