Sad…Woke up at 3:45 am to get there and get a spot ….it was 80% full…I did no get to do trail of cedars or avalanche bc I couldn’t get parking

We parked at Apgar and took the express shuttle that starts at 7 AM. No issues with parking that way.

That’s why you get up early and get there no later than 6:30am. We went to Logan pass twice last week, no issues, by getting there around 5-5:30am with plenty of parking. It filled up around 6am.

We didn’t allow people to stand in a spot to hold it. I just took it because no one has time to wait for a car to make its rounds for that “saved” spot😂😂😂

I saw people standing and holding a spot a few days ago when I went! I was so glad I got there early & parked a little ways down and walked because people were arguing over a spot. I did think it was unfair to stand in a space, though. That’s cheating

that is insane. straight insane. last year we hiked and backpacked into Gates of the Arctic. We did not see a single soul in 7 days. and now an obligatory Denali pic. *not taken from the NP cause too many people this was taken from the state park* 😂

I’m glad I went before you needed to make reservations, but now I feel the same about going to Yellowstone, it’s just not worth it. As a Montanan, I know so many better places to go visit to experience nature without the people.

We went up there around 5ish and it was so much more manageable! The only spot we were able to get midday was a 30 minute one! It is a nightmare 😭

We literally drove around for about 30 mins couldn’t find a parking spot so we just left. We even got there at like 6am 🤣
