I was told I was faking, and sent home. that night I had another where I stopped breathing multiple times and had to be intubated. The same doctors and nurses who were instructed to not help me were forced to take lessons on seizure disorders.

i was just diagnosed with fnd after experiencing one in the er. drs need to realize that even if it's not due to epilepsy specifically, people can still experience seizures :(

I have non-epileptic seizures and idk how to explain to my partner how to help me during them as I don’t know what triggers them yet, but he stands on me during them and huffs then gets angry as soon as I come out of it and expects me to respond which obviously doesn’t help in fact quite the opposite. I was just wondering if you have any advice for those helping someone during a seizure or if you could maybe do a video please with some tips to help during one

My seizures were diagnosed as non epileptic a got worse over the years they became life threatening eventually I saw an epilepsy specialist and he told me he found spikes and sharps on my recent EEG and that he had no doubt that I have some form of epilepsy, and he had also diagnosed me with epilepsy based on what he found now I am on three different seizure, meds and almost seizure free
