What personally works for me to learn languages is: interacting with it daily (movies, series, music, podcasts, (children’s) books etc.) even if you don’t understand, free resources such as websites and YouTube, making it fun, speaking to people who speak the language you’re learning, and I recommend the app Teuida (I used it for Korean but they also carry a Japanese course). And also remember that slow progress is still progress! Good luck <3

as for languages: since u r saying that chinese and japanese are too difficult, maybe u should consider another romance language? i’d suggest spanish since its rly similar to english and for me personally it was quite easy to learn

u should play yakuza!! i think you’ll rlly enjoy it (there’s a lot of game and i reccomend u start from 0 and then immediately play kiwami. The emotional pain is insane.)
