Yes so glad my kids were young years ago because I was poor and could get great name brand clothing for a couple bucks each and they were in great shape same with used furniture anything I needed I got used and in great shape cheap now these young people can’t do it even garage sales are out of sorts

My little town has a thrift store which sells everything for $3 a bag, so I send great stuff to my DIL. My boys grew up in the 2000s, and they wore those clothes out! Is it a scarcity thing for that era? I was paying $40 for boys jeans even back then. Anything cheaper and they had the knees blown out in a month.

Goodwill pulls out a lot of the good stuff at their donation centers and send to a gentrified upscale version of a thrift shop or other wealthier goodwill locations. It is so disappointing.
