With any new investment class there’s resistance or friction. For crypto there’s a lot, including an entirely foreign purchase, sale, trading mechanism. Retail exchanges loosened it somewhat and allowed for the second wave of adoption. ETFs open a new, and much larger, pool. High net worth and smaller institutional investors finally have access. ETF creation and regulatory certainty are very positive.
