Truly wonder where in Marrakech you went. I’ve traveled over 50 countries and also solo-traveling multiple times. I now LIVE in Marrakech and that says a lot in my opinion. I’m sad to hear your experience- but as a (blond) female, I feel very safe in Morocco/Marrakech 😊

I arrived back yesterday after a week, stayed near the koutobia mosque. Everyone was very respectful 🤷🏽♀️. Travelled all over Marrakesh. I’m not blonde though 🤣

Staring is normal in 3rd world countries. This has nothing to do with Islam. Morocco, Pakistan, India etc all have men who stare. It’s a cultural thing. But yes if a woman is dressed provocatively or less covered, they will stare with no remorse.
