I've been going to amc my whole life and just found out about this movie theatre. it's near me. I haven't seen superman yet and I am planning to watch it tomorrow. should I stick to amc like usual or try this one out?

Dolby is superior to me, the sound, contrast & color is unmatched. It generally just feels more luxurious. Maybe it’s bc I haven’t been to an IMAX in 4+ years idk

I saw sinners in imax for the scene that changed the aspect ratio and it looked good but I couldn’t hear much dialogue I’ve seen a lot of movies in Dolby vision and dialogue was never a problem and the colors and sounds really brought me in

Bro I would love if you could review the Palms IMAX in Waukee, Iowa. This theater is absolutely amazing, it’s 90 feet wide, 50 feet tall with lux recliners with 2 levels of heating and power headrests. It’s also the biggest 1.90 screen in the us I believe with a gt dual laser 4k projection system.

if you don’t have an imax thaeter near you, or you value the better seating, cinemark xd theaters are a fantastic choice for big event style films…but I’m always choosing IMAX over it. What’s your favorite movie theater format? 🎬🍿
