Se what I hate about this is that places like China and Iran are also huge and have varied climates. Like I think if we’re gonna do this accurately, we need to specify what part of those countries is being overlaid onto a US counterpart.

Idaho and that part of Montana get well below 0 in the winter and southern Idaho spends about three weeks between 100-110. I don’t think that’s like Eastern Europe.

this post highlights why it's so hard to make good weather/climates maps in DnD. you'd expect that Canada has the same weather as Germany. except then there's was weird little section in Canada that's mores like Germany cause of the forests and the mountains and the air and wind currents. its why most planets in sci-fi are just X climate. this is the cold planet wnd this is the beach planet

This is like the worst map ever dude. Russia and Japan and China are so huge and have such vastly different climates. The midwest gets infinitely colder and harsher winters than Europe along with having way hotter summers than Europe
