I don't recommend this feeder. I have 2 and the buttons on both stopped working within 2 months. Great idea but flawed execution. luckily I got a refund but I had to go buy a different feeder 🥲

but how does it limit how much food is given per cat each day? how close does the sensor need to be for it to close back up? my cats would watch it open and push into the bowl

I bought this for my cat, so my dog wouldn’t eat her food. Cat was TERRIFIED of the feeder. Tried hard for 2 weeks. It had to go back 😭

I have these and it helps ! but now I need them for the dogs because the cats try to eat the dog food too! ugh

I got these for my cats! They could use a little fine tuning but are overall the best we’ve found since our boy needs a special diet that contains corn which makes our girl gassy!

Great product, when it works. Mine checked out during a weekend (none electric issue, the app kicked off the machine suddenly) and I had to go home 2 days early so my car wouldn’t starve. I’ve been having issues with the company for 3 months about it and they won’t even let me return or exchange since it’s used. I have the malfunction on video as well as pictures of it not being on the app. Stay away if you want to keep your cats safe.
