I read in the comments you’re looking in to YWAM. Check out IHOP as well, another one that was similar to Teen Mania’s honor academy. Every decade these programs pop up, operate for a while; then wind up failing.

my church growing up went to atf and I had leaders who had been in teen mania (who are still defending that nasty organization bc of course they are) and grew up heavily evangelical in the CoG / AoG churches. The documentary was a tough watch 😅

I was an i tern with them from 96-97. And went on several trips with Teen Mania. It is definitely a cult! They exploited us as teens!
