The fact he trained all those robots to be able to defeat Mr Incredible and only once he thought he was dead did he release the robot, because in his mind if Mr Incredible couldn’t beat it, no other super could. Even though he wanted revenge, deep down he still felt Mr Incredible was the best of all of them.
