i’m a daycare teacher! our first timers always get upset the first couple times. once they realize there’s toys and friends they stop crying and have fun! the only usually cry for the first 30 mins to an hour. so don’t feel too bad. it’s harder on us when the parents have a hard time to let go cause that usually just makes them more upset. babies can sense emotions especially their parents so if they sense that ur upset then they will get upset too.

If he was wearing little glasses too it would end me. I sobbed like a lunatic when i first dropped off my little princess. 16 years later shes learning to drive and jjust did a great job Im so proud. Its a rough ride but not as bad as you think. Just enjoy!!

My son didnt even react on his first day of daycare (i work in the daycare he goes to just not his classroom) i walked out of the room fighting tears, turned around to see him just playing with a toy, not even looking for me, and got a little butthurt so i stopped crying and left LOL

please have a good relationship with his teachers! ask about his day, ask if there’s anything you can work with him on, ask how their day is going. we loooove working with parents but we only can if you let us!! your kiddos success is your priority and ours :)

as a pre-k teacher for a while meltdowns will be inevitable but if you work with the teachers on it slowly it will get better! I know seeing your baby cry sucks but they’ll get used to it i promise!! 💞
