No way it took place 1960. In the end of the first incredibles movie you can see the underminer, in the second it starts with him and there's hackers and a bunch of technology that the 1960s couldn't even imagine.

If you remember, that robot was designed for Frozone. Mirage was tracking him and accidentally found Bob. He was in the volcano bc frozone cant use his powers there. Syndrome would have ripped frozone in half EASILY if Mr Incredible didnt get involved

there's no way this was 1960s. Dash's teacher filmed him on home video tape VHS, Betamax, or some other similar cassette based tech, which was around in the 70s, but not really affordable until the late 80s.
