We Thais don't steal things. It's rare to do that. The only thing that gets stolen is shoes. If you go to the temple, be careful to find a bag to put them in and carry them with you, or they'll get stolen.

Got pulled over by cops on rental bike yesterday in Phuket. Had to go pay fine, left bike and helmets. On my return, one helmet was stolen. 😡 Police gave me another helmet. 😁 Weird.
