I work at a daycare, you can never force anyone to sleep. If they can’t sleep, you let them relax or do something such a coloring or puzzles.

I saw a teacher do this when I worked at a daycare upstate. she was a lead and I was the assistant. I reported her to the owner and was fired the same day . they said" I was overqualified for my position" and was not needed.

This is so upsetting as a preschool teacher …. This is honestly horrible . I am so sorry for the parents . They need to really be careful who they hire for preschools…. Preschool teachers are in high demand right now because they are underpaid and schools are hiring anybody and it’s not right

Omg so sad how many kids have to die before the issue is resolved once and for all. I had my youngest at a head start program they were very good there. So I can’t say it’s everywhere, but they do need to have monitored and trained more. How is sitting on a child complying with regulations.
