I would 100% have plyed the floor, it might last for a while how its fitted now but give it a year or 2 and the joints on ur new flooring will start to break and lift

Did you not need an underlay of any kind? We've ordered flooring and it reccomendeds an anti-damp underlay. Also did starting in the middle make.it easier? I was going to start at the edge to get the difficult part out the way but I'm not sure.

only thing I would have done different is take a bit off the skirting board and slide the wood underneath it gives much nicer finish .but good job well done 👏
