Used to go in there with my nan. I think it was to collect her pension. That was in the early 60s. I think the building next door was the telephone directory enquires. My sister worked there in the 70s

I live on the Wirral spent some time in Neston there is a telephone exchange which looks interesting art deco feel to it so I imagine that would be worth looking into
