@kayli.kiing: The little town of Chamonix, France continues to amaze me and this is definitely the least amount of work I’ve ever had to do to get to the top of a mountain like this 😅 also the most elevation of gained in such a short amount of time and I did feel it This is the Aiguille du Midi, a 3,942 m tall mountain that sits in the French Alps, with an insane view of Mont Blanc. The cable cars can be accessed in Chamonix, or through the Italian side, Courmayeur. You can book your time slot online ahead of time! I had purchased a 5 day gondola ticket ($202 usd) and could use it on this whole day, so it ended up being $40 for me instead of the $95 if you do the single day ticket. When you get off the second cable car, they give you a time slot that you need to be off the mountain by. We ended up wandering around for a bit and didn’t eat lunch there, but got snacks at the cafeteria. I went into the cable cars knowing it would be cool up top, but I had no clue it would be like THAT.
