I started my journey beginning of June with intentions to be summer ready next June. I’m already doing so well. I’m taking “maintenance” breaks during my periods and it’s helping a lot.

We always want to set timelines for every little thing. It’s a hard to get out of that mindset.

I’ve lost about 80-90 lbs in the past 11.5 months and I’m stuck at the last 10-15 I want to lose, but I’m giving myself grace because my dad died almost two weeks ago and it’s taking everything I have to exist

It took me 2 years to lose 98lbs. I maintained for two then gained 20lbs. As of now, I'm back down those 20lbs.

Great points! Are there any vitamins that you would recommend or you find essential as we work on maintaining a healthy diet? Not supplements, just vitamins like magnesium, vitamin D?

I don’t have a timeframe this time! I’ll get there when I get there. I also do partial goals that are more achievable. I have a goal weight I’d love to get to, but for now my goal is to loose the 8 lbs I’ve gained in the past 6 months - and I’m halfway there! 💪🏼

Very true. I’ve lost 15pounds. It took me 6 months 😩 I’ve got 7 pounds left to get to my goal but I’m a little static at the moment but I’m okay with that as had a few holidays and drinking days but I’m proud I at least only put 1 pound back on, I’m now ready again

also: keep in mind that if you've been carrying that extra weight for many years, it's completely normal to take more time to lose it. yes, some people can lose a lot of weight in only three months, but a lot of them have gained that weight in a short period of time. It's a very different situation than being overweight for most of your life.
