I have ARFID so, not picky, just a different barrier. But I will say this, my childhood favorite is specifically a garden fresh tomato with a bit of mayo. Otherwise I don’t care for mayo, and tomatoes are just heartburn. lol but this sandwich looks delicious and I’m sure it’s a success for you in some ways, but I absolutely don’t think that’s quite the right word either. Cheers though.

back in 2020 you were all over my fyp with the tinned fish and it never even crossed my mind that i could like fish, let alone from a can. but it’s 2025 and i’m out here craving tinned fish and sushi and lobster ravioli

I was a picky eater as a child but loved sardines and other seafood as well as sheep, goat and blue cheese (things a lot of children don’t like, ig) bc that’s what i grew up with. other picky eaters grew up with chicken fingers and fries, simple as

I used to HATE fish and tomatoes, but after 20 years they are some of my favorites!!! trying things in safe ways can help overcome these fears (in my experience) but modern food prices/culture can be pretty anti-exploration :(

I've actually followed food content creators for the longest time because through my curiosity I figured out it helped me overcome food aversion!! so far it has helped with meat the most it's crazy how much it helped desensitize me lol

tomato sandwiches are a major comfort food for me, my great grandma and I would make tomato sandwiches for our tea parties when I was a kid. this just reminded me that I definitely need to make some with my garden tomatoes while I miss my granny 🥹

Agreeeed. Honestly people need to stop expecting influencers and internet people to conform to their wants and needs. If you don’t like someone’s content or it doesn’t work for you. Then skip along and go to someone else’s page. Creators don’t need to change their content to suit you and it’s not mean when they don’t.😁
